Stringing together hit after hit, they hit the road to celebrate 35 years of musical collaboration (32 of those married) and they have never sounded better.
Mr. Giraldo played a semi-hollow body electric for most of the hour-long set and wailed with mean distortion that filled Consol with old-school rugged rock while Benatars powerhouse vocals soared high above it all, never missing beat. As a result of a reported acute viral infection, Cher will postpone and reschedule 10 performances in eight cities for her current Dressed to Kill tour, including upcoming shows at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Tickets originally purchased for the postponed shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates, and refunds are available. The tour is scheduled to resume on Oct. 4 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. A full list of the rescheduled shows can be found below:

TOUR TO RESUME IN ALLENTOWN, PA ON DECEMBER 2ND

The one and only Cher will be postponing eight upcoming shows of her phenomenally successful Dressed to Kill (D2K) Tourthis month beginning with her Lubbock, Texas concert which was scheduled on November 9th. The legendary star is on the mend and making an excellent recovery from a recent infection but has been advised by doctors to continue her recuperation at home for a few more weeks. The tour is scheduled to resume on December 2nd in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The stunning D2K extravaganza began last March in Phoenix and toured across North America for 49 shows to unanimous rave reviews. The forthcoming concerts will include a totally new wardrobe created in a historic collaboration between Cher and longtime designer Bob Mackie. Chers current CD Dressed to Kill debuted at No. 3 on Billboards Top 200 Pop charts and includes the No. 1 dance hit s World.

With enormous regret, Cher has announced the cancellation of all remaining dates on her Dressed To Kill (D2K) concert tour.
Beginning in March, the multi-award-winning superstar completed 49 sold out concerts to unanimous rave reviews before taking a scheduled break in July.
Shortly before returning to the road in September, she was felled by an infection that affected her kidney function.
While her progress has been consistent, Chers doctors have advised her to take more time to ensure a complete and total recovery.
Commented Cher: I am totally devastated. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets. Im so proud of this show. It is my best ever. I sincerely hope that we can come back again next year and finish what we started.

Along the way, the union of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo has become one of the most successful in music history, and their legacy continues to be celebrated across the globe. The couple is kicking off their 35th Anniversary Tour on April 10 in Jackson, California. Cities listed among the North American concert series include Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Albany, Hampton Beach, Nashville, Orlando, Durham, and many more.
The rock duos exceptional journey began with their debut album, In The Heat of The Night. They would soon grace the cover of Rolling Stone, and make history with the hit single You Better Run, which gave them the distinction of being the first female vocalist and the first guitar player featured on MTV. In 1981, Giraldo began co-producing the pairs recording sessions, starting with Precious Time. By the end of 1982, they were married in a Hawaiian ceremony.

Anybody whos come within a country mile of a radio during the past 35 years has heard - and marveled at - Neil Giraldos astonishing guitar playing. On a glittering cavalcade of Pat Benatar smash hits, his crafty, melodious licks and robust solos have come roaring out, brimming with spunk and considerable charm, enlivening that which already seems like perfection.
Hes the kind of guy who makes it seem so easy - you can just picture a teenaged Giraldo dishing out riffs for astonished classmates and then coolly shrugging it off like, No big deal. But the guitarist maintains that hes had to work at it - the soloing aspect, especially.
I didnt have a lot of dexterity when I started out, he says. My mantra became, m going to learn three chords and make them sound like God is playing them. Solos and everything else took a back seat for a while. Eventually, I figured that stuff out.
That he did - Giraldos prodigious chops earned him a prime spot in Rick Derringers touring band, his first big-time gig before his eventual musical and marital partnership with Benatar.
I learned a lot from Rick, Giraldo says. One thing thats stayed with me is an observation he made. He said, You sound like yourself. Dont think that you can go on somebody elses rig and sound like them. That aint gonna happen.
Giraldo decided to test out Derringers perceptiveness: I plugged into Ricks rig, cause he got such a great sound, and wouldnt you know it? I sounded just like me! Rick was right, and that was a very important thing for me to realize: I had my sound, and I should own it.

It has been a crazy week s eye injury was unexpected and terrifying.Thanking God and the Universe that he was able to have surgery immediately and save his eye.He is healing nicely and expected to make a full recovery!Unfortunately,not soon enough for us to continue the tour.He is unable to fly,exert himself or engage in any activity that could compromise the healing process.So with heavy hearts, we will have to cancel the scheduled dates,through Alaska.We know this is such a huge disappointment for everyone,us included.We were having a blast out there,celebrating our milestone anniversary with all of you!Yall were there every night.singing your hearts out,rockin like crazy!We thank you for your never ending enthusiasm and dedication..you are the BEST!We hope you understand that we must do this,to ensure Spyders good health for the future.We hope to be out there performing for yall for many years to come!Well keep you posted on his progress and any updates regarding future performances.Thank you for your good wishes and your continued patience and support.

(Los Angeles December 4, 2015) One December Night by Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, is the first offering from Producer/Musician Neil Giraldos Holiday record due out later in 2016. The track is available now at digital outlets such as iTunes and Amazonmp3.
The album (whose title is yet to be named) will feature all original songs of various styles with special guest vocalists and guest players.
When asked about the project, Producer Neil Giraldo comments, My intention was to write new songs that expressed the feelings and emotional components that embrace peoples lives during the holiday season. Hope, family, love.found and lost, new beginnings, coming home, et cetera.
One December Night was written by our youngest daughter Hana, Patricia, and myself and features Pat Benatar on vocals, as well as Hana Giraldo on background vocals. This is the first song weve composed and recorded as a family project.
For this recording, I wanted to capture the holiday charm of the 50s and 60s but with a modern, bluesy approach la The Stroll.
The song has a roots based rhythm section, a bit of street corner Salvation Army percussion, slide guitar and piano. Add in Patricias powerful voice and a hint of The Ronettes and there you have it, One December Night!
