FEATURED IN THE MACYS THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE, ONE DECEMBER NIGHT, FROM UPCOMING NEIL GIRALDOS 2016 HOLIDAY ALBUM, IS RELEASED DIGITALLY

(Los Angeles December 4, 2015) One December Night by Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, is the first offering from Producer/Musician Neil Giraldos Holiday record due out later in 2016. The track is available now at digital outlets such as iTunes and Amazonmp3.

The album (whose title is yet to be named) will feature all original songs of various styles with special guest vocalists and guest players.

When asked about the project, Producer Neil Giraldo comments, My intention was to write new songs that expressed the feelings and emotional components that embrace peoples lives during the holiday season. Hope, family, love.found and lost, new beginnings, coming home, et cetera.

One December Night was written by our youngest daughter Hana, Patricia, and myself and features Pat Benatar on vocals, as well as Hana Giraldo on background vocals. This is the first song weve composed and recorded as a family project.

For this recording, I wanted to capture the holiday charm of the 50s and 60s but with a modern, bluesy approach la The Stroll.

The song has a roots based rhythm section, a bit of street corner Salvation Army percussion, slide guitar and piano. Add in Patricias powerful voice and a hint of The Ronettes and there you have it, One December Night!

Rock legends Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will speak at SXSW Music 2016. The couple will sit down with USA Todays Mike Snider to discuss one of the most enduring partnerships in music history and the road ahead.

Brooklyn-born, four time Grammy winner, multi-platform artist and mezzo-soprano, Pat Benatar has always been a trailblazer. The duos top 40 hits dominated the MTV revolution with iconic titles such as "Love is a Battlefield", "We Live For Love", "Promises In The Dark", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "We Belong", and "Heartbreaker". Producer, songwriter and husband, Neil Giraldo aka Spyder, crafted the signature Benatar sound with his masterful arrangements and steel bending guitar. He also created hits for a variety of other top performers including John Waite, Kenny Loggins, Rick Springfield. Together Benatar and Giraldo continue to be a force to be reckoned with as they hit the road each summer inspiring new bands and thrilling fans all over the world.

The interview will take place on Wednesday, March 16 in Room 16AB of the Austin Convention Center from 12:30PM - 1:30PM.

February 24th rescheduled to June 20th

The February 24th date has been rescheduled to June 20th. We are saddened to share this message from Ms. Benatar:

"Dear Ones-Spyder and I regret that we have to postpone the show scheduled for Feb.24 in Houston, at the House of Blues. We will be flying home to attend my mothers memorial service."

We look forward to seeing you on June 20th and please join us in extending our sympathies for their loss.
